7ashara* is Fine :D

7ashara broke my heart today, she looked dead and lifeless which freaked me out. I tried to move her but nothing worked. I was about to say goodbye and leave her to rest in the trashbin but after a while she surprised me and moved! She made up my day.

Oh 7ashara is my new pet.. she's an earthworm that I found in lettuce..

I'll post her photo soon :)

I'm glad that your new pet is fine Attawie. :) I think that 7ashara* might need something more nutritious to eat than lettuce. Perhaps you could try some bits of other fruits and vegetables. She might like some nice soil to live in too. Please post a picture. :)

ok then *writing more fruits and vegetables on her list*

Oh actually my sis and I were thinking of putting 7ashara in a bigger place and some soil.. once her new home is we furnished I'll take photos.

I thought petting an insect would be easier and i would be less attached to it.. we'll see about that :)

oh it's not an earthworm.. it turned out to be Noctua Cutworm!

I'm still searching about how to take care of it :)

I was actually wondering if your new pet was actually an earthworm earlier. Lettuce seemed a strange place to find an earthworm!

Your pet is actually a caterpillar. That is the juvenile form of a moth or a butterfly. I am quite familiar with both. I studied about them a lot when I was young and I even collected them for a while. From the name "cutworm" I think it is likely this is a species of moth.

I think that you will find it interesting to learn about how a caterpillar transforms into a moth. It will shed its skin to reveal a pupa. The pupa looks a bit like a tiny mummy. ;) After a certain amount of time, the moth will emerge from its pupal encasement.

Have fun! :)
