The USGS web site is very interesting Attawie! I had no idea there were so many earthquakes in the world every week.
The one near you was in southern Iran and was magnitude 5.3. Many people in Iran live in houses built of earth and stone. Such houses would be damaged by a moderate earthquake such as this. I also hope that the damage, injury, and loss of life will be small.
yeah really cool.. it made me feel like oh this is something normal and we don't have to worry this much about it!
I kept looking at the map and jumping from place to place.
I read about the earthquake near us but i didn't hear anything on the news!
